We solve gas sensing problems and pick the most complex and untouched issues. Hydrogen detection was the first problem our scientists decided to solve. Since all existing technologies for detecting hydrogen, like metal oxide semiconductor and catalytic pellistor, were generic and prone to issues like cross-sensitivity, range limitation and inability to withstand exposure to high concentrations of hydrogen, our scientists embarked on a journey to create a unique technology which would be specific, selective and intelligent only to hydrogen and be capable of measuring hydrogen over a very wide range, without getting damaged upon exposure to even 100% pure hydrogen.

In 2012, Indian Patent No. 252998 was awarded to our inventor Mr. Ashokkumar Ramchandran for inventing a novel reference electrode and a method to create a hydrogen gas sensor using a solid electrolyte. Having successfully solved a major range and exposure limitation in Hydrogen Gas Sensing, we have created an affordable yet high-performing suite of Hydrogen Gas Detectors, beating the global competition.

While the Hydrogen sensors were seeing commercial success, our innovator in Cambridge, UK, Dr. R. Vasant Kumar firmly set his mind to solving all major issues in gas sensing.

After 7+ years of research at the University of Cambridge, a Smart Platform Technology for Nano Sensors was born, which incorporates the best gas sensing principles like thermal conductivity, infrared and more on a MEMS chip, to analyse almost all kinds of combustible, toxic and noxious gases. These Smart Nano Sensors are low cost, extremely accurate, highly miniaturized, IoT enabled and consume ultra-low power.

The technology is globally protected in key markets like the USA, EU, India, China and Hong Kong

The Smart Platform Technology is unique as it introduces the concept of Nano Sensors to the field of complex gas detection and accurate measurement. With a sharp focus on creating highly accurate Nano Sensor solutions for all gases, a wide range of critical Industrial and Consumer applications are possible.
